Classroom Expectations
Be Responsible:
All students are responsible for the maintenance and care of the music room, school equipment, and instruments.
Students must be prepared at each rehearsal with instruments in good playing condition (or a parental note of explanation),
music, and supplies.
Be Kind:
Orchestra members will be considerate of each student’s right to learn and Mrs. Riggs’ responsibility to teach.
Be Respectful:
Instruments, music, equipment, and the personal possessions of other students are to be respected
and left alone.
Be Your Best:
Students are expected to approach each class with a positive attitude and contribute to a productive rehearsal.
If a student’s behavior repeatedly interferes with rehearsals, Mrs. Riggs will issue a detention, confer with the student’s parents, and counselors and administrators, if necessary, in order to resolve the problem.
